SARAH DEVITO | CAMP DIRECTOR

Sarah DeVito is thrilled to spend another summer at Summer Spotlight! She just completed her sixth year of teaching at Central High School. Prior to teaching in Keller ISD, Sarah received a BFA in Theatre Education from the University of Houston. She was one of the first two people to receive this degree. She has been a part of the directing team for The Awakening of Spring (2017 Alternate to State), Golden Boy (2018 Alternate to State), and Medea (2019 6A UIL One Act Play State Champion). She also had the opportunity to direct In the Heights, Newsies, and The Spongebob Musical, all Kelley's Best Musical award winners. Other directing credits include: A View from the Bridge (2022 Alternate to Region)The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time, She Kills Monsters, and Our Country's Good. When she's not up at school....just kidding, she's always at school.

GRAYSON MERCHANT | ASSISTANT CAMP DIRECTOR

Mr. Merchant is a designer and teacher based in Dallas-Fort Worth. As a Scenic designer, he has designed multiple productions, his favorites being Dogfight and We Are Proud to Present. Additionally, he has worked Off-Broadway and regionally while working under notable Scenic Designers as an assistant and associate designer. He just completed his second year of teaching at Central High school in Keller ISD as the Technical Director. Directing credits include: A Streetcar Named Desire, The Spongebob Musical, and A View from the Bridge. To view more of his work visit GraysonMerchant.com

DREW WILDER | CAMP TECH DIRECTOR

Drew Wilder has designed multiple productions, his favorites being 1984 and Moby Dick. He was a nominee for the 2020 Betty Lynn Buckley Excellence in Scenic Design award, the 2022 Broadway Dallas Best Lighting Design award, and the 2022 Betty Lynn Buckley Excellence in Lighting Design. Design credits include: People Places and Things, The Spongebob Musical, and Sister Act.
